One maths pathway, from first numbers to O-Level

Maths is the subject where gaps compound: a child who never built number sense struggles with fractions, then with problem sums, then with algebra. Our classes form one continuous pathway — early numeracy in preschool, heuristic thinking through primary, PSLE problem-sum craft in P5–P6, and E Maths and A Maths to O-Level — so gaps are closed where they start, not patched the year before an exam.

Preschool (N1–K2): numeracy and heuristic thinking

Primary (P1–P6): mathematics and heuristics

Structured techniques, technology-based games, traditional practice and engaging activities — building the translation skill that turns a paragraph of English into a diagram or an equation. See Mathematics & Heuristic Thinking.

Primary 5 & 6: PSLE Maths

Problem sums, model drawing and heuristics — the strategies MOE explicitly expects when a question has no obvious formula. A child who can draw the bar model correctly has usually already solved the question. See PSLE Maths Tuition.

Secondary: E Maths and A Maths

How are the classes run?

Small groups, never more than 1:8 — because the tutor needs to see the working, not just the answer. A wrong answer with sound reasoning and a right answer by luck look identical on a marked script. We serve families across Ang Mo Kio, Bishan and Yio Chu Kang from our centre at Blk 709 Ang Mo Kio Ave 8.
