Common questions from parents

Why do children who understand Science still lose marks?

Because the paper marks the answer, not the understanding. A child can know exactly why the plant died and still score zero for writing 'no sunlight' instead of stating the relationship the question asked for. The open-ended section rewards a specific structure — identify the factor, state the effect, link the two — and children who are never taught that structure lose marks they have genuinely earned. Next Level Enrichment drills it.

How does Next Level Enrichment teach Science?

Through inquiry and clear explanation rather than rote facts: pupils observe, predict and reason, so a concept is understood rather than memorised. Written answers are marked against the actual PSLE mark scheme, so a child learns what a full-mark answer looks like long before the exam.

Learning beyond the classroom

In class your child works from our own structured worksheets. Enrolled pupils also get our eLearning Science library — video lessons for Primary 3 through Primary 6 to revisit at home.
